About AES Marconi

With a turnover of €4m+ per year we have a direct workforce of 45 property and environmental professionals and are able to call on the services of a range of specialist subcontractors.

Established in 1992, AES Marconi have assisted over 4000 homeowners in the remediation of oil spill damage across all 32 counties of Ireland.  We have surveyors located in key areas to allow rapid response to notification of oil spills and assist homeowners in dealing with their insurance companies.

Our workforce is stable, experienced, reliable, security vetted and well trained. Our managers are experienced, practical and pragmatic. We like to get the job done with as little fuss and disruption as possible. We will turn up on time or tell you if we will be late. We will honour our commitments. Paul McEvoy
Managing Director

Paul is the Managing Director and responsible for all aspects of the company including the overall performance of the company and implementing the company’s strategy as determined by the Board of Directors.  Director responsible for Health & Safety.

Alistair Bushe (BSc (Hons) NEBOSH)
Environmental Manager

Alistair has over 16 years’ experience working within our industry.  He is our senior Environmental Manager managing all aspects of the environmental operations for all contracts throughout Ireland. Customer and client liaison.

James Lalor (PGeo, EurGeol Dip Min Eng)
Environmental Scientist

James is responsible for all site investigations and surveys in Ireland.  He carries out site visits to establish the extent of damage caused by the oil spill and complies a report outlining the remediation strategy required.

Paul Burns (MSc, Env Sc)
Environmental Scientist

Paul is an Environmental Scientist who delivers surveys and investigation works throughout Ireland.  He engages with the homeowners to establish the problem they are facing and establishes the damage that has been caused and complies report outlining the remediation strategy required.

Alan Carnduff
Contracts Manager

Alan has over 40 years experience in the building industry and has worked for AES for almost. 20 years.  He is responsible for on site works for all oil spill remediation projects.  Approx 250 per year. Management of approx. 25 site operatives.  Responsible for the H&S on all sites. 

Graham Tedford (BSc (Hons)
Treatment & Site Supervisor

Graham is responsible for carrying out the treatment phase of works on oil spill projects throughout Ireland.  He is also responsible for ensuring site security is in place. 

Sharon Larkin
Customer Service Manager

Sharon has 30 years experience in Customer Service and has worked for AES Marconi for the past 15 years.   She is responsible for the co-ordination of projects between clients, home owners and contracts manager to ensure the smooth running of all projects.
